Since the Internet was established as one of the key tools for sharing information, the number of users has not stopped increasing, to the point where “the network” has become essential not only for personal use but also for business. As highlighted in the report of the National Institute of Statistics at the end of 2010 with the results of the survey on the use of ICT in companies, 97% of Spanish companies with 10 or more employees have Internet, 95.5% have email and 63.9% have a website.

This prominent use of ICT by companies has led to the search for new formulas to develop their activity. In the commercial communication sector, email marketing has become the main means of relating to consumers, as well as gaining efficiency, competitiveness and reducing costs. “Using e-mail marketing provides companies with a series of advantages that help them stand out in their sector and reach the desired public quickly, directly and in a personalised way by allowing them to adapt campaigns to each recipient,” says Paul de Fombelle, General Manager of Sarbacán Software. “Furthermore, in a difficult economic context, e-mailing is an ideal technique, as it has a very low cost and a very high return.” In fact, according to a recent study by Forrester, e-mail marketing is one of the techniques that generates the most sales.

In the last year, social networks such as Facebook or Twitter have had a lot of prominence in digital advertising. “The truth is that they are not rivals of e-mail marketing, they are different channels, with different africa email list objectives and unequal results; that is why the ideal is to combine them,” says the General Manager of Sarbacán. He adds that, due to the simplicity of the tools, the tendency is for SMEs to opt to use e-mailing before social networks: “It is the modern version of direct mail, something that has always been done. Now it is the Internet, a medium that multiplies creativity and results.” As one of the first e-mailing programs in Europe, Sarbacane software is used by thousands of companies, because it has an easy-to-use interface that allows users to carry out their campaigns in the shortest possible time and thus focus only on the graphics and other aspects of their actions. “At Sarbacane we see every day how the use of e-mailing is developing for companies of all sizes and the successes they find.

By being attentive to the specific needs of users and technological developments, we can contribute to these achievements with a complete and efficient tool,” says Paul de Fombelle. Sarbacán Software is the developer of a computer program for carrying out e-mail marketing campaigns, which allows you to prepare and personalize messages, send them without being considered spam and effectively measure the results. Created in 2001, the Sarbacán software already has 12,000 users and has become one of the key solutions for sending commercial e-mails in Europe. It should be noted that Sarbacán is celebrating Candidate Day today, a competition organized by the company to assess the sum of skills and talent of candidates eliminated during a personnel selection process. The final winner will be chosen on June 16, and will be awarded an iPad2 and the opportunity to collaborate with the company on the most original and effective online content produced.
