Content syndication is not duplicate content, but it can be if you apply it through guest blogging and do not take preventive measures to avoid confusing search engines.

The same thing happens when you try to promote your own content within your website, but let's see it with an example:

Syndicated content - Pinterest
José Facchin publishes a series of articles related to the use of Pinterest as a marketing tool and, in some of them (like this example), he links to another page that contains more texts that have the use of Pinterest as their main focus.

Facchin used variations of the main keyword and created different content to cover the entire topic on Pinterest.

But let's imagine that Facchin has used the same keyword to try to position some of his texts on Pinterest.

In these cases, we enter into a duplicate content conflict because we are telling Google that on our website there are several URLs with the same keyword.

Therefore, we are faced with several conflicts:

Duplicate content (as stated).

Internal Keyword Competition.

The situation is exactly the same when you want to syndicate your content through guest blogging.

Content syndication can be applied in several ways:

Through social platforms and external channels that function as “search engines” or web 2.0.

Republishing your blog content on third-party or partner websites.

As you can see, the second option for syndicating content is through guest blogging, that is, offering your already written content to your allies, so that they can publish it on their website.

In other words, guest blogging is not synonymous with syndicating, but rather it is a channel that you can use to syndicate your content.

With both techniques you can achieve incredible things, mainly building credibility, trust, community, doubling your reach, while gaining backlinks.

In the case of guest blogging, you may inherit some of the authority of the site on which you publish your guest articles, if the site owner accepts dofollow links.

That is, both could help you climb positions in search engines and in your community.

However, the difference is obvious and is that with the pure application of guest blogging there is no scalability or recycling of content.

The content of your guest post must be unique and original, it must not be republished anyw email database marketing swiss ere else, much less publish excerpts of an original piece and then direct traffic to the original source.

While content syndication, in addition to suggesting the republishing of your articles, also recommends doing so through external traffic channels and social networks, which function as search e
