what would you do?

Post by Bappy12 »

This post is based on a conference given by Sergio Fernández, founder and director of the Master of Entrepreneurship of the Institute of Positive Thinking and Master of Personal Development.

In it he shares the keys to becoming an entrepreneur and not failing. Sergio began coaching and giving lifestyle conferences in October 2007 after realizing that he would never again dedicate himself to something he was not passionate about.

There is a paradigm shift, a change of game. Before we were used to the game of Parcheesi: you studied a degree and automatically got a job. If you played well you had no problem. Now things have changed and life is no longer like Parcheesi, but like chess, which is even more complicated, with its variables and thinking that you have to anticipate events that may occur.

With this, he tells us that it is not enough to study a career and find a job in what you are passionate about, but that you have to be the best in your field and be predictable, train yourself to the maximum in your field so that you are the one who stands out among all those who like you are dedicated to the same thing. What happens with this is that people who are still in the game of Parcheesi have very high expectations, they blame society for their failures or for things going wrong for them, when they do not achieve their goals they get frustrated and live in constant anger.

This created leaders without a position who worried about what they had to do to get ahead themselves. This creates a selfish paradigm of not wanting to share your knowledge for fear of being taken advantage of. The new archetype that is being proposed is to share your knowledge with the community for free and charge for the rest, thus creating a world of cooperation, co-creation and collaboration.

Asia is currently the world's economic centre. They are ahead of the curve. That's where the money moves. They are pioneers in automation and that is the future that awaits us: automated globalisation. Something that we are still waiting for to happen in Europe. We are waiting for a tsunami to come to realise what is happening.

Entrepreneurship conference: Living without your boss by Sergio Fernández

All of this makes you wonder what you are going to do on this planet or how you are going to live. But these are wrong questions; the correct one would be "how am I going to serve on this planet and what talent do I have?"

This creates two types of people: the irresponsible, people who are involved in a project at 60% or less, and the responsible and 100% committed people, those who give their all in every project they venture into. In this new work paradigm we find that responsibility does not keep you a job. You have to give your all in everything you do and still you are not guaranteed a job. A clear example is that before there were 25 people with the same qualification as you, which guaranteed you a job almost for life, and now there are 50,000, so now your qualification is worth “0”. You have more competition and you do not have a permanent position. From the point of view of the employer you do not say: 'you will be here for 50 years', but rather: 'we are in this project together'. Propose a change of professional approach.

Capital is becoming less important and the idea of value is becoming more important. Money goes where there are good ideas. These are the scarcest resource. Today the main means of production is the brain.

In life, everything is divided between love and fear, a phrase that Pablo Coelho said and that is applicable to this way of life.

Productivity techniques and a holistic view of people: Keys to being a good entrepreneur.
Issues
85% of entrepreneurs fail with their idea within 5 years. This means that thinking about what you want is not enough. You have to know how to be an entrepreneur both at a personal and professional level.

One of the ways to achieve this is by getting people out on the street with the Wall Street way of thinking, that is, by making 50 pitches and having them face “No”, and then they will realise that nothing happens. You will try to find a way to get them to say “Yes” from an attitude: both from the speech and from the type of clothing you should wear to get a sale.

On the other hand, the person has different roles:

Technician: the one who executes and carries out the production of the product.
Manager: Organizes resources and executes the product strategy.
Entrepreneur: the one who has the idea.

Areas to be covered
This section is divided into 7 points:

1.- Find and develop your gift both personally and as a business: your purpose.
With this you ask yourself a series of questions which lead you to how to focus on your business, on what you want to do.

What do you get up for every morning? Purpose-based relationships help you develop, if you associate with just anyone you will probably get into trouble.

What did you want to be when you were a child? This question asks you what you would like to do, why and how. If you were guaranteed that the idea you have in mind would be successful,

And finally, what would you do if you knew you had 3 years left to live?

2.- Health. It is important to feel good in all physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects.
Each of these particularities is carried out differently to find your balance.

Physical. It supports everything, it is a fundamental part of our well-being and it depends on whether we focus on the development of the idea. The ideal would be to eat 20% or less of animals and 80% of vegetables, in this way there is greater sustainability and emotional and physical stability.
Intellectual. We must read a book a week on topics related to what we work on, so that in 5 years we will be the best prepared in our field.
Emotional. In this part you only have to follow three simple steps. Do not criticize. Do not envy. Do not complain. By following these rules, your emotional state will not be affected by the actions of others, which will lead you to greater fulfillment.
Spiritual. One way to be spiritual is to have a moment of silence without doing anything. This is when you realize your truth and the truth you are telling yourself. You must thank everyone and everything that made you feel good that day. And most importantly: visualize from gratitude what you want for your life, in this way you will focus on what is important and leave aside other aspects that do not contribute anything.
Don't expose yourself to information that doesn't add anything to your life. We don't mean that you shouldn't be informed, but that you should be informed, but without paying attention to every little detail that is said.

You must take at least two courses a year. One focused on your profession and one on something that is dedicated to another topic that is not related.

3.- Manage your time.
It is essential because if you do not do it correctly you could have telemarketing leads usa dattelephone numbera a chaotic life both personally and professionally. One of the examples we give you are 7 habits of a highly productive person . The first thing is to know what your priorities are in all aspects: professionally and personally. It is necessary to know about finances, so you will know what you are investing and spending your money on. The course on Finance for Non-Financials will help you to know about the subject and know what you are doing and how you can improve the investment of your capital in the business idea you want to form.
