It’s that time of year again! I was heading down to London for the Grand Designs Live 2014 press day and I have to say, I was pretty excited. This is my third time at Grand Designs Live, but my first in London, and there’s always something new for me to discover. Before sharing a few posts on some special subjects from the show, I thought I’d start by sharing my person highlights, like I did last year. Get ready for lots of photos!
day3The bathroom display from Stonewood Bathrooms was delightful as always. I love the simple styling here, and it definitely got me day dreaming about a luxury powder room. Decadently neutral bathrooms seemed to be a trend at this year’s show, but this large bowl-like basin was one of my favourites.
day1The NOA House sat proud in the Grand whatsapp number list Village section of the show. Created by Jaanus Orgusaar, the NOA House is a sustainable living space using a rhombus structure to give it innovative, small space design. It reminded me a bit of a modern, distorted honeycomb!
day5The show was full of intriguing lighting ideas. I’ll be dedicating a whole post to this soon, so here’s a teaser – some delicate metal chains from a wild light fixture by Charlesworthy.
