1. Facebook business category
First of all, check if you have the correct category selected on your Facebook page. In the FB page settings, click on “page information” and select the correct category. You can add up to 3 categories. In the menu you will find “Hairdressing”, “Beauty salon” or “Beauty, cosmetics and personal care”. If you sell salon supplies, you can choose from “Sale of beauty salon supplies”, “Cosmetics store”, “Cosmetics store”, “Cosmetics distributor”.

2. The right Facebook page template
As a Facebook template, you should select the "Services" template in the buy phone number list "Templates and Cards" box in the settings if you are a salon . If you sell salon supplies, then the "Shopping" template.
3. Setting up a logo and cover photo
The logo should be your business logo and the cover photo can be a collage from your portfolio or a simple image with a short text. You can also use the cover photo to announce important information, such as that you are closed on a certain date. We recommend using the website or the Canva app directly to create a nice design.

4. Address and opening hours
In the page settings, click "Information" and complete or check the correctness of the data: phone number, website, email address, address and operating hours.
5. Setting up an automatic response
An automatic reply is important mainly because it is a direct contact with clients. If someone new contacts you, they expect an immediate response, but you don't have time to reply right away because you are working. In that case, you can set up an automatic reply that will be sent to each new message by itself. Click on "Settings", then on "Messages", where you can pre-fill the automatic reply. Done! 🙂
