For creators: How do Collabs work and how to activate them on Instagram?

Post by Dimaeiya333 »

Once again, Instagram is making things easier for its users by making the “Collabs” mode accessible to everyone. To set it up, just follow these few steps:

Create a post or Reel using the usual Instagram functions (the “+” icon at the top right of the screen);
Once the entry is created and the “Share” option is available, click on “Identify people”,
Select “Invite a colleague”,
Find the Instagram account(s) you want to collaborate with for this post or Reel and confirm,
Press “Done” when you receive the pop-up notification of said invitation to save,
Click “Share” and the magic of “Collabs” mode works!
But be careful: for this form of collaboration to be fully active, the identified user or users must accept your collaboration proposal. To do so, once their post has been shared, they will receive a notification requesting the collaboration and whether or not to accept the invitation.

As for the number of possible collaborators on a shared post, Instagram has set a limit of 20 mentions and users in a single post or Reel. This still leaves plenty of room for those who want to try their hand at collaborative publishing. It should also be noted that only public accounts can be tagged via the social network's "Collabs" function.

How to use Instagram collaborations to boost your marketing strategy?
With this feature, Instagram also enables brands and KOLs to integrate this creative and collaborative format into their influencer marketing campaigns. And that's because "Instagram Collabs" offers many significant advantages. Among them, in particular:

Speed : By sharing the same post or Reel on two or more Instagram account risk managers email database s simultaneously, the “Collabs” mode makes it easy to collaborate on common posts in just a few clicks and avoid duplicate content for businesses and influencers.
Simplicity : As already mentioned, this new feature is accessible to anyone and allows, within the framework of an Influence project, to carry out a collaboration, without the need to take screenshots or use third-party applications or social networks.
Boost reach and impressions : Likes, comments, and other actions on a Collabs post are “shared” across different accounts. This greatly improves the reach of the post or Reel in question, as collaborating users have access to each other’s communities. This is a simple, fast, and effective way to gain new subscribers, reach a new audience (including that of the other account), and gain additional engagement.
Trust : Just as paid collaborations between a brand and a content creator are explicitly and legibly mentioned thanks to the features available on the social network, “Collabs” allows the collaboration of Influencers to be presented to interested audiences in a 100% transparent way. Please note that the “Collabs” mode is not a substitute for the clear mention of a paid partnership. It only presents a similar message that complements it and should not replace it.
It is worth noting that “Instagram Collabs” allows brands to boost their visibility and engagement and content creators to make their Influencer Marketing collaborations visible more easily and simply. And all in just a few clicks.
